Ridgeway employees enjoyed a sporting night of football recently, making the most of the sunshine in the Playball Centre at Stormont.
Team discussions had preoccupied lunch room conversation for a number of days in the run up to the event, with teams chosen on the night to combine members from each division.
The sun shone for the duration of the evening with the uncontested highlight of the night being a winning goal from Phill headed into the back of the net ‘a la Van Percy’ assisted by Jonny.
Organiser Jonny Kane who rallied spirits to encourage such a high level of participation was the first substitution after an on-pitch collision. However his determination shone through as he overcame his injuries and was substituted back onto the pitch to finish the game assisting the winning goal of the night.
Everyone returned to work the following morning unscathed albeit a little stiff after the evening’s sporting entertainment. We have a selection of photographs in our gallery below displaying a few highlights of the evening.
