Ridgeway provided bespoke-sized gabion cages to a customer who used them as gabion “pillars” to break up a fencing run to rear of garden , and also to provide support for the installation of a set of access gates. The gabions were built upon 3 concrete support pads to reduce any potential settlement, and the centre of the baskets were filled with breeze blocks to add strength and stability, and to reduce the volume of the face finished cobble required to complete the filling.
