World of Owls is Northern Ireland’s only owl, bird of prey & exotic animal sanctuary. It‘s a charity that specialise in providing a safe sanctuary and haven for birds of prey & exotic animals that have suffered cruelty & neglect.
Situated in the tranquil surroundings of Randalstown forest and manned by volunteers, it provides homes for the rescued birds.
Following a break in and vandalism at this local animal charity, Ridgeway donated some fencing to secure the site.
Mike Gibb, the executive director of the charity, approached Ridgeway for help with upgrading the security of the site by installing a new perimeter fence. As part of renovations on the site, partially funded by Antrim Borough Council, Ridgeway were tasked with providing and installing a new fencing system. Nylofor 3M provided an economical and secure system, that when installed gives little visual degradation to the forest environment.
Ridgeway supplied material in conjunction with one of our Pronet fencing contractors, O’Neill Fencing, who installed the fence line. This was a challenging job, with unique factors that had to be considered.
