Ridgeway supplied almost 400m of Ridgefence Sports Rebound and Ridgefence Spectator Rail for the new sports pitches in Tandragee Recreational Centre.
The newly refurbished pitches feature our popular 6m high reinforced ball court fencing with a galvanised and polyester powder coated finish in black providing a quality aesthetic appearance, however Ridgefence Sports Rebound is available in almost any colour.
Ridgefence Sports Rebound was chosen for its strength and purpose made design using 6mm thick single vertical wire and twin 8mm horizontal wire. The bottom of each panel has a narrow 50mm x 60mm mesh aperture making it suitable for heavy daily use and can be purchased as a complete system with gates and ballcourt accessories if desired.
The grounds also feature Spectator rail along one side of the pitch which is 1.2m in height allowing greater visibility for the spectator area, helping to build greater community atmosphere for team matches.
The Ridgefence was installed over a period of two weeks by specialist fencing contractors O’Neill Fencing who are also Betafence Pro-net contractors.
Local media promoted the opening of this new area to local sporting enthusiasts offering free hire trial during March 2014. Speaking on the launch of the new 3G pitch, Leisure Services Officer of Armagh City and District Council, Paul Hanna commented, “The new synthetic pitch will enable more people in the local community to enjoy sport and encourage others to become actively involved in sport.”
