PASMA Tower Week is here once again. It is running from 7th to 13th March 2021. It was established to contribute towards the reduction of falls from heights by promoting mobile access towers. As we are a PASMA member and your local tower specialist, we are proud to be a part of it. PASMA Tower Week focuses on raising awareness of the most common dangers that are seen on site when working with towers. PASMA also promote safe working practices.
Falls from height are still one of the major causes of injury within the workplace and PASMA works continually to reduce accidents on mobile access towers through training, education and raising awareness. Within the last five years 186 people have died falling from height, 28,000 people have been injured falling from a height and 30%-40% of serious injuries or fatalities follow falls from height worldwide.
